My control says wait 5 minutes for 1st start no is happening 30 minutes .

magnum intelligent control thermostat showing negative temperature
installed magnum intelligent control thermostat to replace a pre-existing (faulty) thermostat. However the displayed temperature is a negative number. Any idea why please?
Screen blank
First turn on after installation, back light on but nothing on the screen, waited as per instruction manual for 5 mins after turning on for instructions to appear on screen. Now 15 mins and screen still blank just back light on, no flashing led either
Heating not going higher then14. 5c
Have c16 with 10m matt but not going higher then 14.5, can you please help
